How can I make this creepy James Brown doll turn on whenever someone uses the remote to turn on the TV?

I have this James Brown doll that sings in dances whenever you push a button on the pedestal it stands on. I want it to turn on whenever my dad pushes the power button on the remote, how exactly would I do this, and what supplies would I need? If ya'll help me out with this one,we might have a hit on youtube. :)|||You would have to have a servo motor over the dolls button, that is programmed to respond to the frequency of that particular remote controls code. It won't be cheap, but it would be funny.|||not possible under $100
